And Josh is making me my veggie burger and carrots as we speak and I can literally feel it in my throat lol. I had some broth after work.. wasn’t great but it did hit the spot. It does seem to be getting easier.. and I keep thinking oh man its just so close until the surgery! I have been working toward this for almost a year and it’s just 12 days away. Tomorrow is just another day closer.. and then it will be Friday and the weekend and then it will be 7 days until surgery … That’s all I keep thinking about lol.

Just 14 days away… Not nervous at all but SUPER excited. I’ve been preparing for this for almost a year now and I can’t believe it’s finally coming :)

So this is my diet for the next 2 weeks..

2 Carnation Instant Breakfasts (No Sugar Added)
72 Ounces of clear liquids, Water (Crystal Lite), Broth, Sugar Free Jello, Sugar Free IcePops
At dinner I can have 1 Turkey Burger (Baked) and 1 cup of vegetables (I Like Carrots)

At first I was like omg I can only have the Carnation and Water.. then I come home and find out I can have other stuff haha.
I thought the doctor was trying to kill me lol So I’m excited and I know I can do this now… I was skeptical at first. Not many people have to do this liquid diet but since I’m so big and have a big liver this will help to shrink my liver so the doctor can do his  job better and there will be less complications. Plus it will get everything out of my system and out of my stomach easier and quicker before the surgery. Oh I am just so excited it isn’t even funny. My good friend Brittany is gonna be there when I wake up which I’m excited about. Since my parents live far away they can’t be there and my brother is in Iraq. Josh is gonna be with the kids and Brit is gonna call him after I get out of recovery and they’ll come up to visit me either that night or the next day. Don’t want to freak the kids out. They know I’m going in for surgery and why but I don’t know if Bobby could handle seeing me in the hospital, we’ll see I guess haha.

I was a uber-bitch today at work though. Even more then usual lol. And then I had to go to the grocery store after work.. that was a huge test lol. I was dying the whole time I was there trying not to look at anything. But I kept seeing all my favorite stuff that I’ll never have again. But I got it out of my system and I think now that I know what I can have everything will be great. I have 13 more days until surgery.. 12 days until the day of surgery.. It’s not that long really. Last week went by so freakin fast I’m sure the next 2 weeks will to.

On the 21st I go for my pre-op appointment with Dr Aksade. He’s so nice and I’m excited for that too.

This weekend we’re going to celebrate Emma’s birthday at my dads house on Sunday, their gonna have pizza and cake and I’ll have my stuff, and I’ll be just fine :)
